A no nonense charitable christian organization
The salvation army is in 124 countries. They feed the poor, the clothe the poor, they minister to the poor, the aged, the young the hurting the disabled, the drug addicts. They help with groceries, and toiletries, with presents during christmas, they help with furniture vouchers, and utility vouchers. You've seen their little red kettles, and the bell ringers. These projects they do help meet the needs of the poor and hurting as well around the world; they help combat HIV/AIDS, they have a savings and loan and micro credit programs, they have community health projects, educational services, safe water and sanitation projects, disaster relief projects, social service programs for the marginalized, the aged and the youth and recovering drug addicts, if you are a member I think you can even get married by one of their ministers.
Just look at all of their no nonsense charity. I respect this organization. They are not all talk I see...how they are soldiers for christ. As for me I would like to become a member one day. I have even benefited from their help in the past. But now I would like to give back and not receive from this organization. They are reputable and they are very effective in evangelizing the love of christ through their charity.
If you are like me and looking for a sincere, genuine organization to become a part of I think you should look into becoming a part of this movement.
In a world with so many phoneys and flaky people, in a world with alot of false prophets and religious people trying to scan good christians out of their money....Here is one organization to put your faith in, in my oppinion. Why do, I believe this, I believe this because I have witnessed them all of my life really, really practicing what they preach.
